Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Violence and Aggression Reduction Training team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. Based at our hospital in Dewsbury, the successful candidate will be an experienced trainer who will be responsible for delivering accredited Violence and Aggression Reduction training programmes in personal safety in order for the organisation to meet its statutory obligations. Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide the workforce with specialist advice pertaining to personal safety and dealing with violence and aggression in the workplace. The post holder will undertake the role of delivering a comprehensive range of physical intervention and breakaway courses to clinical and non-clinical staff members. The post holder will have responsibility for planning classes and deliver engaging training sessions to a set of agreed criteria using a range of approaches to learning and carrying out maintenance of records for ESR. They will continuously develop the courses based upon the feedback they receive from their delegates and audits and in line with changing trends, legislation and guidance from experts both externally through the HSE/CQC and within our own organisation.
