A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Patient Services Team within the Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Services department at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Pharmacy Technician to take on the pivotal role of Lead Pharmacy Technician Team Manager. About the Role: You will work closely with the Pharmacy Patient Services Manager to ensure the effective delivery of medication supply services across the Trust. Your role will involve: Leading and managing a team of pharmacy technicians and support staff. Supporting service transformation to meet evolving patient and operational needs. Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory frameworks related to medicines supply. Championing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care. Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-focused pharmacy services.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a registered Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in staff management, change leadership, and project delivery. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about driving improvements in patient care and has a solid understanding of the legislative requirements that govern pharmacy practice.
