We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Post Room Porter to join the Trust and become part of our busy and dedicated team to support and deliver an efficient service. This is a part time position working 15 hours per week, Thurs & Fri - 08.00am - 16.00pm.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the operational portering team you will pick up and sort post to and from all areas in a timely manner. You will also be required to assist with the franking of post. You will be responsive to the requirements of the service, sensitive to patient's needs, courteous and caring to all service users. The successful applicant will undertake a number of other basic portering tasks, including assisting medical record porters and undertaking other basic portering duties. The post holder will be responsive to the requirements of the service, sensitive to patients needs, courteous and caring to all service users. The duties allocated to the Post Room Porter may be routine planned tasks or require an immediate response to meet the demands of the Trust.
