Clinical Audit Quality Improvement Facilitator

Job summary

To join our services we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Audit Facilitator, who wants to participate and contribute to the Clinical Effectiveness agenda by supporting the development and implementation of Quality Improvement measures within the Trust, this will include providing guidance and assurance, support, advice and training to staff throughout the organisation. In return for this commitment we will support and develop your potential and skills through regular supervision and development in this busy role within our friendly Trust.

An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Audit Facilitator, to join the Clinical Effectiveness Team. Successful applicants will be offered a full induction into the service and Trust. Supervision and PDR is offered regularly and the ethos is one of developing staff. The successful applicant will be a reliable, enthusiastic and dynamic individual with strong communication skills with the ability to contribute to qualityimprovement across the organisation.

Main duties of the job

To carry out the implementation of the Clinical Audit and QualityImprovement Priorities throughout the Trust. Follow and support the Audit Framework which incorporates Clinical Effectiveness, Patient Safety and Patient Experience.

Contribute to the review and development and implementation of policiesand procedures within the Clinical Effectiveness Teams portfolio.

Work with colleagues in the Care Group Teams to identify SMART actions, produce presentations/ reports/ papers as required for Quality meetings and to keep an accurate record of any Action Plans associated with findings from projects.

To attend and participate in the Clinical Effectiveness Team meetings, Care Group Meetings including the Care Group Quality meetings, and any other relevant meetings, as and when required.

Attend any identified local, regional and national events to keep up to date with evidence-based practice, own development and regional and national developments.

Represent the Clinical Effectiveness Team at local, regional and nationalevents as requested, to develop and maintain strong networks with otherindividuals and organisations.

Support professionals to undertake clinical audit associated with identified quality improvement.

Work with colleagues to develop and implement tools and processes thatenable a consistent approach
