Job summary
This is a 3 month development opportunity to grow your organisational development skills and experience. You will work as an Improvement and Cultural Development Officer within the Trusts improvement and culture portfolio. This post will provide improvement support and expertise to facilitate team development and growth. You will be a strong effective communicator and have the ability to facilitate groups and lead events for teams and directorates.
Main duties of the job
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships, particularly with those with improvement challenges, as well as teams who are exemplars, and with senior managers and clinical leads.
- Deliver a range of soft skills training sessions and interventions as part of the Learning and Development programme.
- Work under direction to establish, coordinate and facilitate appropriate groups that are necessary to support the successful delivery for responsible project areas. This will include regular communication, planning and scheduling of meetings, setting agendas, production, and distribution of meeting papers, note taking, distribution of minutes and action points, ensuring progress and completion of agreed actions.
- Ability to command respect and create a sense of community within a team, whilst at the same time having the ability to exert challenge where required in order to deliver positive results.
