Job summary
Are you looking for a new role? We are looking for a part- time occupational therapy assistant to join a team of occupational therapists within the community Mental Health Rehabilitation Team.
The core hours are 24 hrs per week, worked over 3 days a week -The service is 7 day working. flexibility of the daily hours can be agreed.
Main duties of the job
Assessing adults of working age with mental ill-health who live within their local community around their occupational needs, designing and implementing person - centred interventions to support them in their recovery and evaluating their progress.
You will be able to manage a diverse caseload and work closely with the multi - disciplinary team, giving you the opportunity to work with Consultant OT, OT, RMNs, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Employment Specialists Peer workers and CBT
To work with patients to develop independent living skills and work towards individual recovery and vocational goals in preparation for discharge, as directed.
