Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to work in an exciting and dynamic service providing high intensity psychological interventions for the North Lincs Talking Therapies team.
We are looking for a psychotherapeutic counsellor who has the energy, enthusiasm, and skills to join our team who is committed to making a difference within the RDaSH Talking Therapies service. The service has been well established providing a stepped care, evidenced-based model for the treatment of people with common mental health problems. You will be hard-working and able to meet specified targets, in order to deliver a high quality talking therapies service.
It is essential for applicants to be trained in the NHS Talking Therapies counselling modality Counselling for Depression, and hold relevant registration/accreditation.
Main duties of the job
To provide a qualified specialist psychological therapy service to clients in the modality of Counselling for Depression. This involves providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy, within one or more psychological therapy models specified by the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression manual.
It will involve supervision of other colleagues as appropriate.
The post holder works autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
