Senior Information Quality Officer

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 1x part time (22.5hrs) Senior Information Quality Officer to work within the Information Quality Team.
The post holder will play a lead role working in partnership with operational, health informatics colleagues and external partners to maintain a robust data quality framework. This will involve being responsible for matters relating to Information Quality, Kitemarking, Audit, NHS Benchmarking and Clinical Coding.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will ideally have the following knowledge and experience:
o Able to communicate at all levels across the Trust the importance of information in support of Trust functions and patient care
o Have highly developed specialist knowledge of services, national guidance and IT systems to enable presentation of complex and contentious information and being able to appropriately persuade and influence change and improvement throughout the organisation where required
o To ensure that all aspects of the portfolio are delivered accurately and on time within tight deadlines
o Lead by example with previous leadership experience desirable
The role provides a varied and diverse workload in terms of being responsible for the provision of accurate, concise, and clear information in multiple formats to ensure the Trust has high levels of confidence in the data used for local decision-making and statutory returns. To provide supervision of junior staff, as required, in line with all necessary HR policies and procedures.
