An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administration Assistant to oversee the smooth running of the Central Admin Hub within the Central Locality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Administration Assistant, who wants to participate and contribute to achieving excellent quality of care for our patients. In return for this commitment, we will support and develop your potential and skills through regular supervision and development in this busy role within our friendly Trust.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
Whether you already work for us or are joining the Trust and NHS for the first time, apprenticeships can help you to develop the skills, knowledge and know-how in order to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be reliable and provide administration support to the Central Locality Admin Hub as well as supervising admin assistants.
- Provide a senior confidential, quality administrative service to an identified branch of serviceswithin the Care Group
- To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathywhere necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, serviceusers, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies
- Have an understanding/knowledge and be able to work towards the teams KPI's and targets.
- Provide and receive routine information from work colleagues and clients. Exchange information with clients requiring tact and diplomacy
