The Community nursing service is part of Rdash Foundation Trust which is absolutely committed to providing high quality services and to supporting its staff to deliver services to the highest standard. We are focussing on improving our understanding and delivery of patient safety, clinical effectiveness and patient experience as the key areas of quality.
Doncaster Care Group is pleased to be able to offer a development opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated and innovative registered nurses who are committed to working in the community. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership qualities, problem solving ability, be able to work as part of a team and be autonomous and courageous in your practice. An awareness of the challenges we face within an evolving NHS and the strategic demands and drivers would also be an advantage.
You will need to be able to study at MSc level and be self-directed in your learning. We are looking to sponsor students to undertake the one year full time Specialist Practitioner Qualification - District Nursing program commencing in September 2025, at Sheffield Hallam University.

Following successful interview with Doncaster Care Group as stage 1, Stage 2 will be the application to the University, once there has been verification and confirmation that the University entry requirements have been met, stage 3 will be the offer of a place.
Essential Criteria
- Appropriate demonstrable post graduate experience
- Applicants must have academic credit at level 6; and have the academic capability to study at level 7.
- Demonstrable community experience
- Mentor qualification or equivalent
- Compliant and up to date with all Mandatory and statutory training
