INTERMEDIATE CARE SENIOR (Band 6) OT 1.0 WTE
A vacancy has arisen for a Mental Health Senior OT (Band 6) in Rotherham's Intermediate Care and Re-ablement pathway. This post offers a great opportunity to use your specialist mental health practitioner skills whilst also contributing to service developments in this field.
Working alongside another Mental Health OT, you will be part of and work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Generic Therapy Support Workers, Enablers, Social care colleagues and develop close links with the voluntary sector to support the people of Rotherham.
The post offers the opportunity to use mental health Occupational Therapy skills in the assessment, planning and delivery of therapeutic programmes and interventions; for many patients this is central to improving their rehabilitation outcomes and experiences. In addition to managing your own caseload and co-working with other members of the MDT, supporting good mental health practices and service initiatives are also key parts of this role.
