Job summary
To be the creator of the RDaSH Safeguarding Team newsletter with the support from the safeguarding team.
Currently 5 newsletters are produced over the year with the newsletter being central to keeping Trust colleagues up to date with matters relating to safeguarding children and adults at risk.
The newsletter [or e-Bulletin] reflects safeguarding related topics such as neurodiversity, domestic abuse, exploitation and the harms that children and adults at risk may be subjected to.It will include local & national themes such as safeguarding week, Domestic Abuse week and other events. There is also the opportunity to produce 'learning on a page' briefings to condense learning for our busy Trust colleagues.
This opportunity will enable you to be part of a team, develop communication skills, be creative, be creative in graphic design and IT skills, to take direction from colleagues and learn a great deal in how to communicate information and learning to a large workforce within a health setting that can be taken forward in your future career.
Main duties of the job
The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:
Turn your passion for words into a practical skill set
Use your ability to use Information Technology equipment
Creating the e-Bulletin using Microsoft Publisher.
