Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Band 3 Administrator to join the Rotherham Autism Team within our Neurodiversity directorate.
The successful applicant will be reliable and be able to provide a confidential, quality administration and telephone service.
The post holder will provide an efficient, effective and confidential secretarial and administrative support service including all secretarial and administrative duties to the teams.
While the post is based in Rotherham the role will form part of a Directorate wide administration team and will be required to support teams across the portfolio.
Main duties of the job
A high standard of word processing is essential and you will be experienced in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook. Knowledge of SystmOne is essential and experience of inputting and processing referrals.
Attention to detail is essential when inputting data for accurate reporting of service statistics. Applicants should have the ability to deal with people with complex communication difficulties and have a calm, polite and professional manner. You must be passionate about high quality patient care whilst remaining calm under pressure. Experience of working in an autism or ADHD service is highly desirable as well as an awareness of the range of communication difficulties our clients can face when on the phone.
