Job summary
The North Lincolnshire CAMHS Service have gone through a period of service redesign and therefore have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic band 5/6 development CAMHS Practitioner to join our Getting Help Team. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team contributing towards assessments and providing evidence based interventions, advice and support to professionals, parents and young people. Newly qualified nurse/social worker would be considered.
As part of the team you will take a role in the delivery of high quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of children and young people, their families and carers.
Working within a systemic and holistic framework you will undertake needs led, evidence based, highly skilled assessments and formulations with young people and families. You will be delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people, their families and carers, who present to the service. These assessments will also include young people needing support due to deliberate self-harm, suicidal ideation and presenting in crisis.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a registered mental health or intellectual disability nurse, qualified social worker, occupational therapist or art therapist with enthusiasm and passion working with young people and their families. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivating, have the ability to case manage, assess and manage risk and will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to establish good working relationships essential to the success of the service.
The CAMHS services within North Lincolnshire are undergoing a transformation programme to implement the THRIVE model as a response to the Five Year Forward View. To meet this forward thinking view we are specifically looking for practitioners with a modern mind-set and an enthusiasm for the new model.
A means of transport is essential and applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
