Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the North Locality Community Mental Health team in Rotherham, you will be a Registered professional with in-depth knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based intervention and treatment for people with complex mental health needs.
The successful candidates will be highly motivated and who ideally have experience in working with adults with a range of mental health problems, with excellent assessment and formulation skills.
Based at Ferham Clinic, Rotherham, you will be joining a supportive and diverse multi-disciplinary Mental Health Team with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery and have an opportunity to contribute to service quality and developments within community services.
You should have demonstrable post registration experience of working in mental health services.
You will be a confident team player, and an effective communicator with service users, their carers and staff of all professional groups, as well as with external partner agencies.
The Trust has a well-developed appraisal and supervision structure in place and actively encourages continuing professional development.
We have strong links with local universities and provide ongoing practice placements for students.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as a member of a multidisciplinary within the Adult Community Mental Health Team, providing a service to clients experiencing mental health psychotic symptoms of a serious and enduring nature.
To be responsible as the Care Coordinator for the assessment, formulation and co-ordination of care needs, planning and implementation of evidence-based care to a defined group of service users and their carers.
To provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multidisciplinary team.
To act as a role model and resource for junior/less experienced staff.
