Bank Nursing Assistant - As & When (Band 2)

Job summary

We are looking to recruit Bank Nursing Assistants on an As and When ad hoc basis. The posts will be based in Rotherham, Doncaster and Scunthorpe.

Twenty four hour / seven day cover is required with shifts comprising of earlies, lates, twilights and nights.

Main duties of the job

Excellent interpersonal skills will be required to communicate with a range of professionals, services, patients and carers and a flexible attitude is imperative, as well as an understanding of person centred care and treating patients with dignity. We cover a 24 hour seven day services, so all staff are expected to work day, night, and weekend shifts (where required).

In return, we can offer the opportunity to work within a supportive organisation, and to develop a variety of clinical skills and experience. We support continuing professional development, and there will be an opportunity to work in different units within Trust as part of your bank contract.

Please note we will shortly commence a consultation regarding the possible transfer of the Nursing Bank to NHS Professionals. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to transfer to NHS Professionals should they wish to assuming the transfer goes ahead. Further information regarding the transfer will be communicated when timescales have been finalised.
