Job summary
We looking for an Applied Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling or Forensic) orPsychological Therapist to work as Clinical Lead in our Getting Help Pathways in North Lincs CAMHS. The Pathways include our Getting Help and Psychological Therapies teams. You would be part of the leadership team in NL CAMHS and expected to work closely with the Service Manager and operational leads.
You will be responsible for overall clinical leadership, including development of clinical pathways, clinical governance, and provision of high-quality clinical supervision. You will develop and provide services that meet the agreed service priorities. This will include development and implementation of highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention strategies including clinical casework, training/supervision of other team members.
You will need to be able to demonstrate your skill/ experience in developing and supporting multidisciplinary approaches and pathways. Experience in supervision is essential as you will be expected to provide supervision to other psychological professionals in the pathways. Consultation, leadership and service development are also essential skills for this post. As the Clinical Lead you will have a liaison role with provider partners and will be a key player in carrying out our ambition to work together as a whole system with equal partnership, promoting integrated working and placing the young person at the centre of all that we do.
Main duties of the job
To provide clinical leadership to the Getting Help Pathways in North Lincs CAMHS and deliver a psychological service the young people accessing the pathways. The main duties will include:
- Indirect working with clinical teams to develop psychological formulations
- Complex assessments and interventions
- Teaching and training of non psychological professionals
- Supervision of psychological professionals
- Working with senior managers to develop psychologically informed models of care.
