Job summary

We are recruiting for a Pay Services Officer to join our established team. You will provide support in delivering the Trust's Payroll and Pensions Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate individual who works well within a team and enjoys learning new skills. Good communication skills and an empathetic manner are crucial for this role.

Main duties of the job

The main components of this role are to provide an efficient Payroll Service to all customers to enable them to enhance their commitment to providing Patient/Client care.

Payroll Officers are expected to plan and organise their own workloads. They are expected to work independently and to use initiative to resolve any problems arising and communicate solutions effectively, escalating any complex issues to the Senior Pay Services Officer where appropriate. Quality outputs are expected from Pay Services Officers at all times.
