Job summary
Community Mental Health
The Recovery Focussed Team is an all age adult (18+) Secondary Mental Health Community Team providing care to individuals with a variety of mental health problems including psychosis, non-psychosis and organic conditions. We are always looking at developing the service and pathways we provide; so this is an exciting time to join the team in this period of ongoing development. The successful candidate will be providing Occupational therapy input across the team alongside the band 6 Occupational Therapist and two Occupational Therapy Assistants.

We welcome students to the team, and always get excellent feedback on their experiences whilst on placement with us. We previously held the Trust Team Mentor award.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 (some flexibility required) and excluding bank holidays. Due to the large geographical area of North Lincs, it is essential that applicants are able to efficiently and effectively move around the area to deliver the interventions in a timely manner.
The post is subject to a 6 month probationary period.
Main duties of the job
Successful candidates should have experience of placements/working in mental health services.
You will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team supervising support staff and working in partnership with a range of external agencies.
You should be a team player, and a confident and effective communicator with patients/ service users, carers and staff of all professional groups as well as with external partner agencies.
The OT team within the North Lincs service is well established and supportive and there is an Allied Health Professionals and occupational therapy network within the organisation providing opportunities for collaboration and support related to development of occupational therapy practice and services.
We have strong links with local universities and provide regular practice placements for occupational therapy students.
Support will be offered through regular clinical and managerial supervision, in-house and external training and an individual approach to your future developmental needs.
