Job summary

The Rotherham Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Mental health practitioner with an interest or willingness to learn more about working in a specialist service.

We are looking to recruit a practitioner from a variety of backgrounds and would consider registered professionals such as Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs), Occupational Therapists (OTs) and/or Social Work (SWs).

Rotherham Perinatal Team provides a Monday - Friday 9-5 Service to service users residing in the borough of Rotherham.

Our Specialist Perinatal Mental Health team supports new mums and mums-to-be experiencing severe to moderate mental health illness during the perinatal period. Main duties of the job

This an exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow and develop to deliver a high-quality mental health response to women in the perinatal period and their partners. This post will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Specialist Perinatal Mental Health team which promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, triaging and responding to referrals, conducting face to face assessments and therapeutic interventions working closely with other team members to provide a holistic and bespoke approach to every family on our caseload.If you want to work in this dynamic and progressive team, helping those in need of support at a crucial time of their & their child's lives, please apply now.
