Job summary
Secondment opportunity (up to 12 months)
We are looking for a skilled Administrator to work along side our friendly, highly motivated team in offering excellent Administrative support to the Acute Therapy teams across ESHT.
The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills, knowledge of various ESHT IT systems such as Health Roster, Integra, ESR and MyLearn together with experience in using Word, Excel and MS Teams.
This role will be offering support on both Conquest and Eastbourne District General, so the ability to travel independently between may be required.
Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient and confidential administrative support To undertake telephone work, taking and relaying messages, making appointments and managing diaries as required To maintain an efficient and effective filing system and email distribution lists To prepare agendas, take minutes, update action plans and circulate to distribution lists To assist therapists with equipment ordering to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained, liaising with Millbrook, Adult Social Services and patients / nominated contacts To assist with the organisation of undergraduate placements in conjunction with the Professional Leads and maintain detailed
databases for therapy student coordination and Band 5 rotations To organise therapy work-experience placements and co-ordinate with the relevant parties To assist with recruitment and induction of new staff To undertake specific projects as delegated by the Professional Lead Occupational Therapist and Professional Lead Physiotherapists and Clinical and Operational Lead To support clinical staff with the inputting of data onto excel spreadsheets as required
