Job summary

Berwick Ward is a busy, acute 27 bedded Ward thatspecialises in Cardiology with Elective and Emergency admissions. We are lucky enough to be having a new bay with cardiac monitoring of level 2 patients this can bring an increase in learning and development. We also have Endocrinology, Diabetes and Step-down from Stroke patients. A multidisciplinary approach to care is practised.

As part of that Nursing team your duties would include general cleaning of the patient bed areas and assisting the nursing staff with essential patient equipment cleaning. All staff within the hospital have a key role to play in infection control and prevention & you could be a part of a team that makes a vital contribution to the patient's experience during their time in hospital.

If you have good communication skills, interested in working in a clinical area, open to learning new skills and/or have experience of working in a similar environment this could be the opportunity for you.
