Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to offer a Band 6 Team Leaders permanent positions on CCU & Cath labs. CCU is a busy 11 bedded Unit nursing elective and emergency admissions. In addition, the role will have the potential to involve rotation into the Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. This could be a wonderful opportunity for your professional development, which is encouraged, and the unit has good links to the University of Brighton. The team is both friendly and supportive, with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care.
You should be a 1st level RGN, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and hold ENB 998/Mentorship level 3 or equivalent. Four years post registration experience is desirable and at least two years' experience at Band 5 with proven management and leadership skills and a Cardiac pathway qualification would be desirable.
You will provide strong leadership, excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and support staff with clinical expertise. The successful applicants will be expected to function effectively under pressure without compromising basic standards of care and professionalism.
