Outpatient Bookings & Reception (Band 2)
Location: Eastbourne/Conquest/Bexhill/Uckfield

Our working hours are below - full and part time posts available
- Reception Team and Cardiology Booking Team: Mon to Fri 8.30am - 5pm
- Outpatient Booking Teams: Opening Hours 8am - 6pm (rota in place for full time staff). Various Working Patterns available and occasional Saturday working 9am - 12 noon.
Main duties of the job
As a Receptionist or an Appointment Clerk you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our outpatient services. From managing bookings to being the first point of contact for patients and clinicians, your work will help ensure every patient journey is seamless and stress-free.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a responsive and professional reception and booking service
- Keep patient information systems accurate and up to date
- Handle telephone and face-to-face queries with empathy and clarity
- Liaise with GPs, patients, families, and external organisations
- Attend admin meetings and contribute to a positive team culture
- Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a busy office environment
- Uphold confidentiality and follow data protection guidelines
