Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a part time Audiology Administrator based at our Eastbourne Admin Office. The chosen applicant will form part of an admin team responsible for the complete journey of Audiology patients with hearing impairment.

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of hearing impairment, excellent communication skills, IT knowledge, and be able to prioritise their workload. The ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team working to strict deadlines.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of the job would be to form part of the Audiology Team within DAS Services, which are responsible for the timely and effective amending of outpatient clinics on our patient administration system. To notify patients of changes in appointments in line with the Referral to Treatment: Access and Management Policy, National Performance Targets.

The post is based at the Avenue House in Eastbourne with the potential of duties at Eastbourne Park Primary Care Centre. The Service operates from 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday-Friday, the post holder would be rostered shifts between 8am-4pm, 8.30am - 4.30pm
