Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cardiac rehabilitation professional with a strong cardiology background. You'll need to demonstrate your vision for Cardiac Rehab and how you'll lead and develop the team and service using our core values.This is a challenging leadership role where you'll manage and coordinate the Cardiac Rehabilitation service alongside the multidisciplinary team. You'll provide specialist assessment and advice to patients with cardiac conditions, ensuring health education and promotion programmes meet individual needs. You'll also help redesign the service using best evidence, keeping patient-centred care at the heart of delivery, while maintaining budgetary control and activity levels.We're looking for someone with broad cardiology experience, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to lead all aspects of the rehab programme. You must be a registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist with a degree, ENB 998/Mentorship Module (or equivalent), and at least 5 years' experience in cardiology or cardiovascular exercise management.In return, we offer strong managerial support and a commitment to your professional development. Main duties of the job
To develop, manage and monitor the Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation service.
Line management of specialist nurses and admin team.
To provide specialist nursing assessments and advise patients with cardiac conditions.
To facilitate and participate in the redesign of the service as required based on best evidence and patient needs.
