We are looking for an HCPC registered SLT with relevant Clinical and Leadership experience who can demonstrate expertise in adult rehabilitation including dysphagia management. You must have strong leadership skills and experience in managing/supervising a clinical team, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centre approach, with a commitment to CPD and evidence-based practice

As Clinical Lead you will have the opportunity to get involved with service developments, audit and development plans.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside highly specialist clinicians in voice, head and neck cancer, stroke, rehabilitation and neurological degenerative conditions to further develop your knowledge and skills.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Speech and Language Therapists within the community rehabilitation service.

Deliver specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for patients with communication and swallowing difficulties.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers, to provide holistic care.

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

Provide clinical leadership, support, and supervision to less experienced staff and students.

Play an active role in rehab and therapy development, service development, quality improvement initiatives, and promoting best practice in speech and language therapy.
