An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, forward thinking RGN to join the Benson & Egerton Trauma Unit team. This is a fixed term, 6 month contract to cover maternity leave.
We are a 62 bedded Trauma & Orthopaedic unit taking emergency admissions from A&E or clinics. Whether you are just starting out on your Nursing career, looking for a change of job, working in a Nursing Home or even returning to practice, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you, our team is both friendly and supportive, with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care. We are keen to encourage and support professional development.
Our shifts are 11.5 hours, day and nights.
We also support student nurses and you will be expected to supervise students with their learning.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the multidisciplinary team
Planning and delivering a high standard of care to a group of patients
Supporting patients to meet their goals to return to their normal residence or assisting with identifying suitable alternatives
Managing your own learning requirements and continuing professional development
