An exciting opportunity has arisen within our booking office; to be based at Bexhill Hospital within the Outpatient Booking Service.
Main duties of the job
The department provides a fast and responsive outpatient, appointment booking service. The applicant will be expected to ring and agree dates with our patients as well as performing a rostered telephone session, depending on the service needs, of the department and which hospital site you are based at. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT knowledge, and an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, working to strict deadlines. The hours of the service operate between 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday, in shifts of, 08:00-16:00, 09:00 -17:00 and 10:00-18:00, with weekend work 9am - 12 noon on a rota basis.

- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Ability to undertake additional training on departmental IT and manual systems
