Job summary
The portering team play a vital part within a busy hospital and ensure that patients are moved safely around to different areas of the hospital.
The successful candidate is required to be physically fit to be able to keep up with the demands of a portering role.
Main duties of the job
The role involves transferring patients, restock of bottle/gas runs, attending fire calls, cardiac arrest calls, helicopter calls, major incidents, collapsed patients, mortuary tasks and any other tasks allocated by duty Team Leaders.
