Job summary
We are currently recruiting to our Outpatient Departments at ESHT, the post for a 37.5 hours/6 month contract Appointment Clerk. The successful applicant will be based at Conquest Hospital
The Outpatient Booking department is a fast responsive department, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT knowledge, an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team working to strict deadlines.
Main duties of the job
The trust is committed to supporting and developing their staff through apprenticeship programmes. If you do not have an NVQ you will be required to undertake a qualification as part of the apprenticeship scheme. The apprenticeship linked to the role is diploma in Business Administration level 2/3.
Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm is our core hours. Hours can be discussed at interview
On a rota basis there will be some Saturday shifts 9.30am - 12 noon.
