Cookson Attenborough is a busy 28 bedded ward, which undertakes elective primarily orthopaedic, as well as surgical day cases.
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and dynamic Clinical Support Workers to join our busy team. Team is friendly and supportive with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care. This is a role where you will be offered support to develop your skills. Completion of care certificate encouraged.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Support Worker is a member of the care team who will support colleagues in the delivery of routine patient care.The Health Care Assistant will undertake a broad range of careactivities under the direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner.The Health Care Assistant (Band 2) will also work closely and undersupervision of the Staff Nurse

Essential
- GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths
- Care Certificate
Desirable
- 5 GCSE grade 4 or C and above or equivalent
- Evidence of mandatory and statutory essential training skills, for example, Basic Life Support, manual handling, infection control, fire etc
- Education and training to NVQ level 3/Work based diploma or equivalent
Experience
Essential
- Relevant experience of working in Health or Social Care Environment delivering personal care
Desirable
- Relevant experience working in the NHS
