We are keen to attract Healthcare Assistants who are looking for new challenges and opportunities This post will support the G.P service in the Urgent Treatment Centre based in Emergency Care are extremely busy; you'll be exposed to caring for different groups of patients and may be required to assist Accident and Emergency Department.

We are looking for experienced Health Care Assistants; hospital experience is desirable but not essential. A minimum of NVQ2 two in Health and Social care or the equivalent. Successful applicants will be required to complete a two Induction course, which will include all the Trust statutory/Mandatory training to join our team inviting them to share their knowledge and experience with the ward; you will need to be well motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development.

We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision on the ward and are committed to professional development of all staff. Team working is an integral part of this ward with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patients.

Main duties of the job

The Health Care Assistant (Band 2) is a member of the care team who will support Registered Practitioner in the delivery of routine patient care. The Health Care Assistant will undertake a broad range of care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner.

We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision and are committed to professional development of all staff. Team working is an integral part where all staff are enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patients.
