Job summary

We are very busy Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre, treating on average 50,000 patients a year. We are looking for a Band 6 Urgent Care Co-ordinator to join our pro-active and dynamic team.

We are looking for a highly skilled and accomplished Health Care Professional, who is well motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development. To support the Urgent Care Leadership team in maintaining efficient, effective, safe delivery of patient care. To work closely with and build relationships with the UTC GP, Emergency Paediatric Nursing Team, Emergency Care Practitioners, Triage and Streaming health care professionals.

We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision within the Clinical Unit and are committed to the professional development of all staff.

Main duties of the job

To support the Urgent Care Leadership team in maintaining efficient, effective, safe delivery of patient care, within an environment that promotes a responsive approach to changing Healthcare needs.

  • Diploma level specialist training or relevant equivalent training and experience
  • Evidence of continued professional development
