Job summary

Locum Consultant Core Urology

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an already well established dedicated Urology team within the Regional Cancer Center of Excellence at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

We are looking to expand our ever growing service by appointing a new Consultant Urologist, based at Eastbourne District General Hospital.

FRCP (Urol) or equivalent & appropriate experience is essential. Salary is based on national Terms and Conditions as per new Consultant Contract.

Main duties of the job

The post will join a dynamic team of Urologists who provide a cross-site general urology service to East Sussex patients at Conquest Hospital in Hastings and Eastbourne DGH, and a pan-Sussex complex robotic urology service. The post holder will be expected to support the continuing clinical developments and medical leadership alongside existing Consultants and specialist nurses as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach to care. The post holder will provide general and urology services to enable the waiting time reduction plan. Any subspecialist interests to complement the department are encouraged.
