Job summary

*Secondment* Up to 31 March 2022

An exciting opportunity to join the Child Health Information Service for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Please note, this role is office based

Main duties of the job

Predominantly data entry using SystmOne. A very varied role, recording child immunisations, updating schools for example, to ensure an accurate and up-to-date child electronic record.

The child health team consists of a Manager, Business Support, Senior Data Administrators and Data Administrators, all working to ensure all children receive the health care required.

Job responsibilities

Data entry is the main duty but working as a team involves being on a rota to cover duties such as the generic email and national event management service which are tasks to complete when the spine is amended.

Responsible for named GP surgeries and schools as the Child Health Lead, which includes ensuring weekly immunisation reports are received and monthly updating of records with school allocations.

Requesting movement in records and updating the child's record ensuring referral to Health Visitors if pre school.
