Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible staff who are available to work within our core business hours Monday-Friday.
The successful candidates will be adaptable, good with IT, and display excellent team working abilities.

Working on the bank, your roles and responsibilities will vary according to your placement or shifts picked up, giving you the opportunity for a wide variety of experience.
Candidates successful at shortlisting stage will be invited to attend an open day at either Conquest Hospital or Eastbourne DGH. This will give you the opportunity to meet some of our administration teams with interviews offered on the day.

Main duties of the job
These temporary positions can be varied, you have the possibility to cover a wide range of roles including medical secretary, clinical bookings, receptionist and ward clerk.
* Booking Outpatient Appointments:
You will be working in a department that provides a fast and responsive outpatient appointment booking service. Your contact with our patients will be via the telephone where you will be making and rescheduling appointments for our patients. You will be expected to have strong customer service skills, be adaptable in a busy role, and IT knowledge as various systems are required to be used. The ability to own on your own initiative as well as being part of a team is essential.
* Clinical Admin roles:
You will be supporting administration teams within specialities. This can involve data entry, scanning, profiling audio files with patient details, basic audio processing, printing etc. Also we have some clinical secretarial support roles where you would require good digital literacy, communication skills as you will be speaking to the patients on the phone and also clinical teams.
As a member of our Temporary Workforce team, you can enjoy the flexibility to work in locations and at hours that suit you, fulfilling a variety of short and longer term roles dependent on your preference and on service needs.
Great keyboard skills and Microsoft Office experience are necessary.
