Job summary
We are looking for dynamic, flexible staff who will help the Matron provide a welcoming, caring atmosphere in our busy unit.
Cookson Devas is a new unit consisting of 15 beds. We care for patients with complex surgical needs, including step-down patients from Critical Care.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and be able to fully interact with all members of the multidisciplinary team. They will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills within the clinical environment to ensure effective running of the shift 24 hours per day. Support the Ward Matron and act in her absence, and support and help develop the team and act as a mentor for new staff, junior staff, and student nurses.
