Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated registered nurses to join our team. Our Endoscopy unit is dynamic, progressive and undertakes a wide range of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures for both outpatients and inpatients.We are a Joint Advisory Group (JAG) accredited unit and we provide Bowel Cancer Screening service to the local population. Our unit have also been recently refurbished to a high standard.We offer a comprehensive induction programme and excellent preceptor support to achieve endoscopy specific competencies.The Endoscopy Unit is operational Monday - Saturday 08.00-18.00; this may change to a 7 day service. We also provide an out of hours 24/7 gastrointestinal bleed service. The successful applicant would be expected to demonstrate flexibility and take an active role in the on-call service once their induction period is complete.
Main duties of the job
To participate within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering appropriate safe patient care in a timely fashion working towards the role of Team Leader providing clinical expertise ensuring the delivery of appropriate safe patient care.
