Job summary
To contribute effectively to the delivery and provision of the Children and Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service.
This role involves working collaboratively within a wider multi-disciplinary team, offering both clinical and administrative support across a range of service settings. The post holder will provide essential assistance under the supervision and guidance of the Children and Young People's eating disorder service team. Additionally, the role requires a strong proficiency in information and communication technology, with the ability to confidently and accurately utilise digital systems to support service operations, data management, and administrative functions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of the service and contributing to positive outcomes for children and young people accessing care.
The Trust currently supports the RealLivingWage(RLW) hourly rate as set by theLivingWageFederation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
We expect shortlisting to take place from 24th February with a proposed interview date of 16th March 2026.
Main duties of the job
1. Assist in the delivery of group work2. To prepare weekly follow up work ready for allocation3. To liaise with external agencies and represent at events; raising awareness of children's mental health4. To be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining information from relevant databasesand prepare statistical audit information5. Organisation and coordination in its entirety of conferences, training events and workshops including releasing notifications, room and equipment booking, confirming attendees, facilitating events, evaluating and compiling reports of feedback, responding to queries, preparing presentations and preparing / staffing market stalls6. Supporting / accompanying mental health clinicians with visits to external agencies as needed7. Make, receive and respond to a variety of enquiries on behalf of the service8. To be responsible for the collection, electronic filing and distribution of mental health resources, signposting information and workbooks9. To support service user involvement and participation groups and activities10. To attend team meetings, team development days and training events and undertake training and development required to fulfil the post11. To support CAMHS clinicians deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including delivering 1-1 sessions under the supervision of the clinical coordinator12. To attend regular supervision and appraisals
