Job summary

Two Psychology roles have become available in CWP Eating Disorders Service; 0.6 WTE Clinical Psychologist in Stockport, based at Hall Lodge and 0.5 WTE Clinical Psychologist in the Wirral and West Cheshire Eating Disorders Service. Applications are welcome from candidates who may be interested in either role, or a combination of the two, not exceeding full time. Base will be dependent on the role taken and should be discussed at interview.

The successful candidate/candidates will provide a high quality, specialist psychology service to clients suffering from Eating Disorders. They will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy, as well as providing consultation and advice on clients' psychological care to non-psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and carers. They will supervise trainees and qualified practitioners as agreed, working autonomously within theframework of the service's policies and procedures.

Main duties of the job

  • Providing psychological leadership within the team.
  • Delivering clinical supervision to practitioners
  • Delivering assessment and treatment of clients with Eating Disorders
  • Facilitating team discussions and formulating client cases.
  • Participating in quality improvement measures in regard to psychological interventions.
  • Completing appropriate documentation and processes to facilitate ED treatment pathways
