We have full time and part time Clinical Support Workervacancies within our CYP Integrated Eating Disorder service, Ancora House.
A clinical support worker with a specialist interest in working with young people with eating disorders will be apart of the CHEDS team and will have a key role to play in assisting young people in their recovery.
The posts will be a part of the CYP Tier 4 CHEDS Eating Disorder Service and will be based at Ancora House in Chester. CHEDS is a regional outpatient service offering evidenced based treatment approaches to 13 - 18-year-olds who present with an eating disorder and their families / carers. The service provides Tier 4 gatekeeping for young people with eating disorders requiring an inpatient admission across Cheshire and Merseyside. There will be an opportunity for working across the service into our day service programme.
Full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part time hours are available. There will be a shift pattern of days and nights.
The Trust currently supports the RealLivingWage(RLW) hourly rate as set by theLivingWageFederation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.

Main duties of the job
Clinical Support Workers will be required to develop and promote a therapeutic relationship with service users and will be key in the day to day running of the eating disorder programme. This includes (but is not limited to) practical meal support, physical health observations and therapeutic group delivery.
You will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and will be expected to assist on all aspects and duties expected in a clinical ward environment.Assist in procedures relating to individualised total patient care, under the direct supervision of a primary nurse. Carry out other duties identified/designed by senior staff that relate to the needs, changes and demands of the service and patient care.
