As the Head of Clinical Services for Ancora House wards, Ancora Care, CHEDS service and the Urgent Support Team, you will be joining our fantastic team delivering a model across the footprint of Cheshire & Merseyside. You will have the opportunity to deliver the vision for the service, implementing and shaping a new model to meet the needs of the local population and working closely with our multi-agency partners and colleagues in the Level Up Lead Provider Collaborative and C&M ICB. Promoting the Trust's values and priorities to employees, stakeholders, and the community, you will be responsible for delivering on plans and KPIs, translating them into clear objectives for your team to make a positive difference in the lives of children, young people and families.
Delivering services and constantly seeking out opportunities for excellence, you will have the chance to both lead and work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people within the inpatient services and community focused services.
Main duties of the job
Head of Clinical Services is responsible for the delivery of patient services within the portfolio. Ensuring high quality services are provided to patients and that achieve operational/performance targets. The role includes ensuring that services are continually improved and developed in line with best practice standards, national initiatives such as Inpatient Transformation Programme (QTP). Translating strategic plans into operational delivery of clinical services.
You will work in a team of managers and senior clinicians, together to ensuring consistent quality of services is achieved across the organisation whilst delivering the specific elements commissioned. The role is responsible for line management of the managers and have overall responsibility for the clinical team.
Holding highly specialist clinical knowledge and experience across a range of MDT functions, the role has operational responsibility for service delivery, operational and strategic management of clinical care and quality. This involves detailed partnership working with colleagues within LPC, and wider partners.
You will work with senior clinical staff to ensure service provision is clinically led and managerially enabled.
Responsible for setting the culture, supporting the performance, development and wellbeing of the individuals you line manage and ensuring direct reports do the same for staff in which they are responsible. Overseeing a culture in which staff are enabled to be the best that they can be.
