An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Eating Disorders Service. The post will be based at our Warrington Site. This is an interesting new post which will aim to develop new and innovative ways of improving services by ensuring that everything we do is underpinned by holistic, person-centred and trauma informed approaches.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate leader, who is passionate about working with people and thrives within a multi- disciplinary environment.
The post-holder will take a clinical leadership role in the co-ordination and implementation of psychological care and ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality specialist psychological therapies service for patients and their families/carers, with the emphasis on co-production. They will be a key part of the delivery of high-quality psychological interventions, providing clinical supervision and helping to shape the delivery of those interventions in the service, as well as working closely with colleagues right across the 6 CWP community services and CWP's in-patient service, Oaktrees Ward, Clatterbridge.
**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**

Main duties of the job
To ensure the systematic provision of high quality specialist clinical psychology to Community patients with moderate to severe Eating Disorders.
To advise, supervise and support the assessment and treatment provided by clinical members of the teams who provide psychologically based care and treatment , as well as delivering treatment itself.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service/team.
To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research.
To propose and implement policy changes within the area served by the service

- Assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist for a minimum of four years with 2 years at a highly specialist level.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity across the full range of care settings including outpatient, community, primary care, in patient and residential care settings severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse.
