Job summary

An existing opportunity has arisen for a Band 5Project Support Officer to work in the Lead Provider Collaborative (LPC) Commissioning Team. Our work covers the following Lead Provider Collaborative areas:

Level Up - (Tier 4) Specialised Mental Health Services for Young People in Cheshire and Merseyside

EmpowerED- Specialised Adult Eating Disorder (AED) services across the North West.

Helix - Specialised Inpatient Perinatal Mental Health Services in Cheshire and Merseyside

The appointed candidate will be passionate to improve specialised mental health services and they will support this work through the function of LPC Commissioning Team.

The appointed candidate will support the team by supporting delivery of the Commissioning Team's aims, objectives and commissioning intentions. They will provide a high standard of project support to the programme team which includes commissioners, project managers and senior clinicians.

Main duties of the job

1. Assist managers in planning, organising, and managing project activities to include, coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.

2. Work in line with protocols to ensure all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

3. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.

4. Develop and distribute project progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

5. Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.

6. Identify project risks and issues, and provide recommendations for mitigation.

7. Assist in resolving project conflicts and issues promptly to minimise impact on project deliverables.

8. Ensure all project activities meet the organisation's quality standards and support with reviews to ensure compliance with established procedures.
