We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our innovative and forward-thinking CYPMH Multi-Agency Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, providing exceptional care to young people with complex mental health needs.
**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**

Main duties of the job
What you'll be doing:
- Clinical Practice:Assessing, diagnosing, and managing a diverse range of mental health conditions in young people.
- Prescribing:Independently prescribing medications within your scope of practice, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
- Collaboration:Working closely with colleagues in Specialist Eating Disorder Services and First Episode Psychosis teams to provide seamless care.
- Supervision and Mentorship:Supporting, supervising, and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Training and Development:Actively participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Service Improvement:Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of our services.
What we're looking for: - Essential:
- NMC registration as a mental health nurse
- Independent prescribing qualification
- Significant experience in mental health nursing
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Desirable:
- Experience working with young people
- Knowledge of specialist eating disorders or first episode psychosis
