Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Participation & Engagement Worker. This role is part of our Children, Young People, and Families (CYPF) Participation and Engagement team, with a strong focus on directly engaging with young people to enhance our social media presence and revitalizing the CYPMH website, www.mymind.org.uk

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage engaging content for our social media channels, with direct input from young people.

Collaborate closely with the CYPF Participation and Engagement team to gather feedback and ideas directly from young people.

Work with the CWP Communications team, incorporating young people's voices, to rebuild and enhance the MyMind.org.uk website.

Write and publish blogs, articles, and updates with contributions from young people to keep the website content current and relevant.

Engage directly with young people's groups to capture their voices and ensure their input is reflected in our communications.

Support the clinical teams in the creation of self-help and self-guided resources for the website with insights from young people.

Skills and Experience:

Strong communication and writing skills, particularly in engaging with young people.

Experience in managing social media platforms and creating content that resonates with young people.

Familiarity with website development and content management systems, incorporating young people's perspectives.

Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders, including young people.

Passion for working with children and young people and understanding of their needs.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
