We have an exciting opportunity in Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Trust for a clinician experienced in working with individuals who have sustained an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), to work as a Case Manager and to provide overall operational leadership for the ABI service.
We are looking for applicants with substantial clinical experience of neurological conditions, particularly acquired brain injury. We welcome applicants from a range of registered health or social care professions (Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers and Nurses).
The successful applicant will have some experience of line management, leading on projects, quality improvement initiatives and / or managing and leading teams. You may have limited experience of operational management but will have transferable skills. If you are motivated to develop your leadership career, the wider management team will actively support your development and learning to fulfil the operational and leadership aspects of this post.

Main duties of the job
The ABI service is made up of supportive and experienced clinicians and admin staff who are dedicated and committed to their work. The service comprises different teams that cover the community, inpatient neuropsychology and commissioning of inpatient neuro-rehab placements. The service consists of Case Managers from different professional backgrounds, Occupational Therapists who specialise in vocational rehabilitation, Neuropsychologists and Assistant Psychologists.
As a service we encourage a good work life balance. While the role would require the person to be physically present for the majority of the hours, we support hybrid and flexible working approaches to meet the needs of the individual and the service.
