Qualifications

Essential

• Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
• Evidence of relevant and validated post-graduate course
• Fieldwork educators qualification

Desirable

• ECDL

Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

• Scientific and clinical knowledge of physiotherapy Practice in line with evidence based practice
• Professional guidelines and codes of conduct
• Critical appraisal
• Trust and Services policies procedures
• Evidence of CPD and portfolio demonstrating interest in a specialist area
• HPC registration
• Commitment to Continuous Professional Development
• Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
• Car owner and Driver
• Current full driving licence, valid for the UK
• Adherence to the Code of Ethics and Professional Standard of CSP and the HPC

Experience

Essential

• Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience
• Experience with respiratory care
• Commitment to training and development
• Team working
• Reflective practice

Desirable

• Experience of day-to-day supervision of Band 4 and/or support staff
• Pulmonary rehabilitation experience
