Job summary
- To provide a highly specialist psychology service to clients with complex psychological and mental health presentations.
- To provide specialist psychological assessment and interventions as well as providing consultation and advice on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers.
- To supervise trainees, assistants and other qualified psychological practitioners as agreed.
- To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the provision of psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy for severe and/or complex presentations within Ageless CMHT in Crewe. You will manage a case load providing specific psychological evidence-based interventions, risk management in community mental health settings.
As a trust we promote working collaborative and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social care professionals and agencies. Essential responsibility will be to embed a psychologically informed model of practice within the service and in collaboration with other agencies.
You will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to junior psychology /therapy colleagues, assistant psychologists, and trainee psychologists. You will take part on service development and quality improvement projects. Community Cheshire East CMHT is an exciting place to work, where change and creativity are welcomed.
